Botulinum toxin type A is one of the most sought-after aesthetic treatments in the world and, applied well, one of the most elegant. It works by relaxing the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles (frown lines, forehead, crow's feet) and helps prevent deeper static wrinkles from forming.
At Harmony by Agas we follow the philosophy of "results nobody notices": conservative dosing, a thorough knowledge of anatomy and respect for the patient's natural expressiveness. The aim is not to freeze the face, but to soften the marks of time while keeping your expressions.
The session lasts 20 minutes, results can be seen from the fourth day and peak at two weeks. The effect lasts an average of 4-6 months, depending on the patient, the dose and the area treated.

¿Qué es la toxina botulínica y para qué se usa en estética?
La toxina botulínica tipo A es un neuromodulador que relaja de forma temporal los músculos que forman las arrugas de expresión. En el tercio superior del rostro se usa para el entrecejo, la frente y las patas de gallo, y ayuda a prevenir que se marquen arrugas más profundas.
¿Se va a notar que me he puesto toxina botulínica?
El objetivo es que no se note: se trabaja con dosis conservadoras y conocimiento detallado de la anatomía para suavizar las arrugas manteniendo los gestos, sin congelar el rostro.
¿Cuándo se ven los resultados de la toxina botulínica?
Empiezan a apreciarse hacia el séptimo día y alcanzan su máximo a las dos semanas. La sesión dura unos 20 minutos.
¿Cuánto dura el efecto de la toxina botulínica?
De media entre 4 y 6 meses, según la persona, la dosis y la zona tratada. Después se puede repetir.
¿Qué cuidados hay que tener después de la toxina botulínica?
Conviene no tocar ni masajear la zona, y evitar el ejercicio intenso, el calor y las saunas durante las primeras 24 horas.
¿Quién no puede ponerse toxina botulínica?
No se aplica durante el embarazo o la lactancia, con infección en la zona o en algunas enfermedades neuromusculares. En la valoración se revisa tu historia médica antes de tratar.
