Fractional CO2 Laser
Deep cellular renewal
Ablative fractional laser to remove wrinkles, acne scars and pigmentation, and to restructure dermal collagen.
In depth
Fractional CO2 laser is one of the most powerful treatments in aesthetic medicine for rejuvenating skin from the base up. It vaporises microcolumns of tissue while leaving the surrounding areas intact, which triggers controlled, deep regeneration with less downtime than a fully ablative laser.
It is indicated for medium to deep wrinkles, acne scars, actinic keratoses, advanced photoageing and marked pores. The energy is adjusted individually according to the main concern and the patient's skin phototype.
The procedure requires topical anaesthetic and, depending on the intensity, takes between 30 and 60 minutes. Recovery ranges from 5 to 10 days with erythema, flaking and, in some protocols, superficial crusting. Results are visible from 3-4 weeks and continue to improve over 6 months as new collagen forms.
