Hyperhidrosis
A solution for excessive sweating
An effective treatment for excessive sweating of the underarms, hands and feet, with results lasting up to 12 months.
In depth
Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) is a common condition that can affect personal, social and working life. Although topical and oral options exist, botulinum toxin is the most effective and best validated medical treatment, with consistent and very long-lasting results.
Applied in small intradermal microinjections, the toxin blocks the nerve signal that activates the sweat glands locally and reversibly, without affecting the body's overall thermoregulation. We successfully treat the underarms, palms of the hands, soles of the feet and other focal areas.
The procedure takes 30 minutes and results are seen between 3 and 7 days. The effect lasts 8 to 12 months, after which we recommend repeating it. It is a very safe treatment when carried out by an experienced doctor, and it does not affect everyday activities.
