Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Deep detox and less fluid retention
A specialised manual technique that activates the lymphatic system, reduces fluid retention and supports the body's natural cleansing.
In depth
Manual lymphatic drainage is a very gentle, rhythmic massage technique that activates the circulation of the lymphatic system, which is responsible for cleansing the body and eliminating fluid and toxins. Unlike a conventional massage, the movements are gentle, slow and very precise, following the natural path of the lymph node chains.
It is very useful in patients with fluid retention, heavy legs, after surgery (especially liposuction, abdominoplasty and rhinoplasty), after invasive aesthetic procedures and as a complement to body contouring and cellulite programmes.
The session lasts 60 minutes and most patients feel relief from the first session. For sustained results we recommend protocols of 8-10 twice-weekly sessions, combined with good hydration, regular movement and less sodium in the diet.
