Description
Aquaphor is a repairing ointment, ideal for supporting the healing process of damaged, dry skin. Its water-free, paraffin-based formulation quickly creates a semi-permeable, protective barrier that maintains the normal rate of water vapour and keeps the damaged area moist to speed up its regeneration. This barrier also absorbs and retains the natural exudates of the wound during healing. It contains panthenol and bisabolol, clinically proven to speed up skin regeneration, as well as glycerin to hydrate and reinforce the skin barrier. It conditions and soothes dry, cracked, flaking or irritated skin after superficial dermatological treatments such as laser therapy, chemical peels or dermabrasion. As it contains a minimal number of ingredients, it is well tolerated, even by babies.
